Bio from 12th Annual Healthcare Symposium

Dina is originally from Southern California and graduated from UCLA in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. As an undergraduate, her experiences volunteering in free health clinics informed her interests in both healthcare delivery systems and health policy. After her first year of medical school, Dina completed the UCLA Medical Administration Summer Fellowship, which offered a glimpse of the manifold challenges we face in healthcare today. Looking forward, Dina hopes to continue exploring her interests in both medicine and health economics, and ultimately bridge the two. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, gelato, and spending time with family and friends.
