Originally from Santa Monica, Benjamin attended UCLA as an undergraduate and spends time wondering how much of his life he is destined to spend in school in the same five mile radius. However, as a history major he studied abroad twice, first in Madrid, Spain and later in Padua, Italy, where he also worked with the local ambulance service when he was not collaborating with locals to improve his understanding of the their native languages, cultures, and mid-day nap. Currently, he has many interests in med school and medicine in general, among them health policy, student council, and surgical research--he is especially excited to be exploring them at UCLA. In his free time he loves playing sports, learning languages, and traveling.
